"Love does not lead to an end to difficulties, it provides us with the means to cope with our difficulties in ways that enhance our growth."

What can I expect from therapy?

With a warm but direct approach I encourage a client in their personal growth and development. I utilize an integrative mix of therapeutic modalities, with a strong basis in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused, strengths based, and feminist theories. This means I tailor sessions to the individual needs of the clients.

My practice interests include:

Individual & Couples Therapy

I am interested in providing assistance to couples/individuals that are seeking sexual and gender identity growth. Areas of interest under this umbrella include working with LGBTQ people, consensually non-monogamous relationships, and I am a kink competent therapist.

Deciding to seek out relationship therapy can be big decision for any dynamic.  I hope to make that journey easier to navigate by helping clients to improve communication, connection, and their sex lives.

I look forward to assisting you in development of goals for your personal and relationship growth.

Payment & Insurance

I know access to good mental healthcare can be hard to come by and strive to make my services more accessible by offering a sliding scale fee. Please email me directly to discuss this more in depth.

Insurance

I am not in network with any insurance plans; however, I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement. The process is fairly straightforward, and I’m happy to walk you through it step by step. Please note that some insurance plans do not cover couples therapy or sex therapy.

Self Pay / Fee for Service

The fee for an initial assessment and a 50-minute individual therapy session is $185. A 50-minute relationship therapy session is $235. For relationship sessions involving more than two partners, both the session length and fee will need to increase to ensure that all parties can participate.

No Surprises Act

As of 2022, there are new protections that prevent surprise medical bills. If you have private health insurance, these new protections ban the most common types of surprise bills. If you’re uninsured or you decide not to use your health insurance for a service, under these protections, you can often get a good faith estimate of the cost of your care up front, before your visit. To learn more about your rights under the No Surprises Act, you can visit cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-877-696-6775.
